Overview
This interactive game forms part of the occupational safety onboarding program for newly hired kitchen staff at Kayumami Restaurant. Staff complete a short kitchen inspection to identify visible hazards before service begins.
Learners take the role of a kitchen assistant responsible for checking the workspace. They scan the kitchen and respond to risks such as spills, unsafe equipment placement, blocked exits, and improper storage. The activity uses a 30-second timer to simulate urgency and reinforce quick hazard recognition.
The game provides focused practice within the onboarding session and prepares staff to maintain safe working conditions during daily kitchen operations.
